Classes are conducted in a relaxed, low stress environment, by highly-qualified instructors. All classes are time in the saddle riding, no boring lectures in a classroom.

ProRider aims to provide a challenging, fun and safe learning environment that will allow participants to enhance their riding experience by developing rock solid confidence on the road and gaining ultimate control of their ride.

A little about ProRider
Thank you for visiting the ProRider Wisconsin website and taking a few minutes to learn more about ProRider. After realizing the value gained by police officers who complete motor school, ProRider founder, BJ McMullen, began looking at the motorcycle training options available to civilians and was disappointed to learn that there weren't many. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation does a great job of providing basic training to beginners and intermediate/refresher training to experienced riders. However, there was no training available that was comparable to the advanced skills taught in police courses. There is nothing secretive about these skills- nothing that is going to compromise officer safety if learned by the public- they simply aren't incorporated into any civilian classes.

Upon realizing that there was huge opportunity to bring advanced skills to civilian riders, BJ began talking to a number of police motorcycle officers and other instructors, obtaining feedback and ideas. There was overwhelming support for the idea of creating a civilian riding course that is truly modeled from police motorcycle exercises and techniques -- not just the slow-speed work, but the crash avoidance street skills as well.

With the collaboration and input from other motor officer instructors, BJ developed a challenging, fun, and rewarding course option for experienced riders that want to take their riding abilities to a new level: an Advanced Riders Course.

Classes kicked off at the Philadelphia PA and Chattanooga TN training sites in the fall of 2013, and have expanded to numerous locations across the country. We plan on expanding into every state and hopefully near every major city! Each Training Site is independently owned and operated, but meets a rigorous approval process and conforms to the high standards established by ProRider. All ProRider locations use the same training course curriculum.

While each Training Site and every instructor brings their own personal flare and touch to the learning process, every affiliate of ProRider is committed to providing an exceptional training experience and giving riders the tools and confidence they need to develop their maximum riding potential.

In 2018, we decided to release a step by step instructional video. We did this to reach riders who were not close to any of our training locations. Since it's release, it quickly became the #1 selling Advanced Motorcycle Training video in the World! We offer video streaming through our ProRider video members area with immediate lifetime access.

BJ McMullan
President & CEO of ProRider Motorcycle Training, and a U.S. ARMY Veteran, I am a Certified Police Motor Officer and Certified Motor Instructor. I rode with my police motor unit 8 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our unit installs sidecars to our Harleys during the harsh Pittsburgh winters. I ride in rain, snow, ice and temps below zero. I have even battled the blizzard of 2010 on my Police Harley.
I have been a police officer for 25 years. I graduated Police Motor School in 2006. I then graduated IPTM University of North Florida Police Motor Instructor School in 2012.
This day was one of the best days of my life and one of the best times I've ever had on a bike. If I would have had a full-face helmet on I would have been giggling, but I tried to keep a serious face. It was so freaking fun. The confidence I felt was indescribable. I want every one of my motorcycle riding friends to take this course. You will not believe what a difference it will make in your riding confidence. I cannot explain the feeling of getting the bike low and slow. And when you make it through the course a couple times without hitting a cone... you feel like a Boss. I don't want to have to challenge my friends to do this, but I'm gonna challenge you all (you know who you are). Right now I can ride circles around you, literally and figuratively, and I am happy to prove it. The best part is that I feel safer than ever on the road because of it. Do yourself one of the biggest favors you can if you ride. Sign up for one of the upcoming ProRider Spring or Summer classes. It is so beyond rewarding. After more than 40 years of riding motorcycles, I took this course and came away with more confidence than ever. Some of the skills I learned were things I had already been doing, but it was nice to learn why and the physics behind it. I plan on taking the course again, to both improve my skills further but also just for the enjoyment of it. I highly recommend it to anyone that rides.
